Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pump
Zero Leakage for Toxic and Flammable Liquids
The magnetic drive centrifugal pump uses a permanent magnetic coupling to transmit torque from the motor to the impeller without a physical shaft penetration. This eliminates the dynamic seal entirely-the most common leak point in conventional centrifugal pumps-making it the preferred choice for pumping methanol, liquid ammonia, and other toxic, flammable, or volatile liquids where zero leakage is essential.

How the Magnetic Coupling Works
The motor drives an external magnet assembly, which transmits torque through a containment shell to an internal magnet assembly mounted on the pump shaft. There is no mechanical connection between the motor and the pump shaft, so no shaft seal is required. The containment shell provides a static seal barrier between the pumped fluid and the atmosphere-a significantly more reliable arrangement than any dynamic seal.
Wetted Materials and Performance Range
All wetted components are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel or alloy materials selected for compatibility with the specific media. Flow rates range from 0.5 m³/h up to 2,500 m³/h, with heads up to 2,600 meters. The pump can be supplied with closed or semi-open impellers depending on the media properties, and the magnetic coupling is sized for adequate torque margin.

Compact Design with Low Maintenance Requirements
The pump has a compact footprint and does not require lubrication oil or seal flush systems. This eliminates the maintenance overhead associated with seal monitoring, flush fluid management, and seal replacement, reducing overall operating costs. The design is particularly suitable for chemical plants, energy facilities, and marine installations where safety and reliability are critical.

Testing, Certification, and Support
Each pump undergoes 100% performance testing before shipment. Third-party inspection and customer witness testing can be arranged. The company holds ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications. Custom-engineered pumps have a lead time of approximately 32 weeks from technical approval to delivery. After delivery, installation guidance, commissioning support, and spare parts supply are available as specified in the contract.
