The liquid hydrogen filling pump is a specialized pump designed for transferring liquid hydrogen at -253°C in hydrogen refueling stations, liquid hydrogen receiving terminals, and scientific research facilities. Hydrogen has the lowest boiling point of any substance except helium, combined with extremely high permeability and a wide flammable range, making it one of the most challenging fluids to handle reliably. The pump's magnetic-drive configuration eliminates dynamic seals, addressing the high permeability of hydrogen and preventing external leakage.

All wetted components are manufactured from materials specifically validated for liquid hydrogen compatibility. The pump incorporates advanced thermal isolation and cavitation-suppression features to maintain stable operation at the extreme temperature. The magnetic-drive configuration ensures zero leakage, and the compact design is suitable for space-constrained installations at hydrogen refueling stations and research facilities.

Flow rates range from 0.5 m³/h to 100 m³/h, with heads up to 200 meters. This range covers typical requirements for liquid hydrogen trailer unloading, storage tank pressurization, and supply to hydrogen dispensers.

Testing and Quality Assurance

 

Each pump undergoes full performance testing on the company's cryogenic test bench using liquid nitrogen as a surrogate medium. Liquid hydrogen testing can be arranged for specific projects.
