The high pressure cryogenic pump is a specialized reciprocating plunger pump for applications that demand both cryogenic temperatures and ultra-high discharge pressures. It handles liquids like LNG, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, and liquid oxygen at temperatures from -196°C to -20°C while delivering pressures from 25 MPa up to 100 MPa. Common applications include high-pressure vaporizer feed, supercritical fluid transfer, and high-pressure gas filling stations.

This pump operates on the positive displacement principle, providing a stable flow rate that is largely independent of discharge pressure. The plungers and valve assemblies are crafted from high-strength, wear-resistant alloys. A specialized low-temperature, high-pressure sealing system is crucial for maintaining reliable performance under the stress of high-frequency reciprocating motion and cyclic pressure loads.

Flow rates for the high pressure cryogenic pump range from 0.4 m³/h upward. A significant design focus is on optimizing the inlet flow path to suppress cavitation, even under challenging suction conditions, which is critical for protecting the pump's internal components. Each unit is performance-tested on our in-house cryogenic test bench across the full flow and pressure range.
